If you’ve ever wondered why bad things happen, and why there’s so much difficulty, negativity, chaos, trauma, and tragedy we experience in this life, then it’s critical to know the truth about demons and other dark forces at play in the spiritual realm. Even though you may not find the term “derms” in the history books, supernatural appearances or demonic behavior were once attributed to "derms." The what-we-now-call demons that taunted people going back ages were "derms." It was also a word used for a wider array of darkness: Bewildering or vexing physical challenges were blamed on derms—from people dying mysteriously to tapeworms to disfigurement of the skin. People believed derms cursed them or possessed them. Unexplainable visuals, unexplainable creatures, and even alien sightings were "derms." It was all interwoven together in the broad term derm. Eventually, it transferred from "derm" to "demon"—and "demon" became the catch-all word for possession and darkness.

There are many different varieties of derms, each of which can have certain terrible intentions or diabolical behavior and varying characteristics. Understanding and being aware of these varieties of derms, and derms in general, will help you to see what is really happening in so many of life’s hardships. Having this awareness is the critical first step to being truly empowered.
